Hyde Park staff will be conducting an evening of technology based informational sessions to teach families about the various on-line programs being offered at Hyde Park. Sessions will include Campus Portal; the online student information system for checking grades and attendance, Google Classroom; which is being used as an online classroom for student discussion and submission of student work, Reading Plus and Compass Learning; which is used for tutoring and to assist struggling learners, and Edmodo; the Facebook of education. Teachers utilize Edmodo to send messages to students and students can post questions about assignments in an effort to get assistance from other students.
