Winter Break Office Hours Hyde Park MS classes will not be held during Winter Break, 12/19/22-1/2/23. The office will be open 7:30 am - 2:30 pm during Winter Break. Limited staff may be working during these days. The offices will be closed on 12/26, 12/27, and 1/2/23 to observe Christmas and New Year.
Spirit Week 10/24 - 10/27/22 Hopefully, many of you have already seen the posters around the school, but we will have a Spirit Week and Halloween Dance next week. The Spirit Week days are as follows:Monday 10/24: Sweater Weather (wear a sweater)Tuesday 10/25: Opposite Day (dress in your opposite style)Wednesday 10/26: Werewolf Wednesday (wear flannel)Thursday 10/27: Costume Day (wear your Halloween costume no masks, face paint, or weapons)Friday 10/28: No School (Nevada Day)*All costumes must follow the school dress code, no weapons or masks*
Halloween Festival with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Join the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Bolden Command for a fun Halloween celebration on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Bolden Area Command Substation. The event is from 5:00 - 9:00 pm and will include candy, games, and food. 1851 Stella Lake Street (near North M.L.K. Boulevard and Vegas Drive)

Las Vegas Metropolitant Police Youth 3 on 3 Basketball Tournamnet Registration for the 9th Annual LVMPD Safe Neighborhood Youth 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is upcoming. 1st Day of School procedures and Alpha Homeroom List School starts at 8:00 am on Monday, August 4th. Students may not be dropped off prior to 7:30 am. For those students riding a bus, you will be dropped-off and picked-up in the bus parking lot located near the tennis courts on Fulton Street. For those students being dropped-off or picked-up by a parent, please tell your parent(s) the best location is along Fulton Street near the bus parking lot or near Rotary Park along Hinson Street. Students May NOT be dropped off in the bus parking lot on Fulton. Please remind them that stopping IN the crosswalk or double-parking behind cars is not permitted. Hinson Street will have a designated southbound drop-off lane. Students will report to their alpha homeroom at 8:00 am and will get their schedule. Students will attend their odd period classes on Monday and their even period on Tuesday. School ends at 3:00 pm and all students need to be picked up by 3:15 pm. There are NO late activities the 1st week of school
