Welcome to the start of a new year! Mr. Galardy
Hello, my name is Matthew Galardy, I moved to Las Vegas in 1998 and started teaching in 2001 after receiving my Bachelor's Degree from UNLV. I taught at CT Sewell ES for 4 years and then moved to middle school at Del Webb and Mannion MS teaching math and science for the next 7 years. I went on to get my Master's Degree from UNLV and from Lesley University in technology and educational leadership. My hobbies are playing guitar, working on my 1968 Camaro, and spending time with my wife, Kelly and youngest daughter, Charlotte, who will be starting 8th grade at Brown MS this year. I have 2 older children who are both products of CCSD, my daughter Jordyn and son Blaze. Jordyn recently graduated from Arizona State and Blaze from University of Illinois. Jordyn is working in the health care profession and Blaze is in the Air Force learning how to be a pilot.
Lastly, I am extremely happy to be back with CCSD for my 18th year and 7th year with Hyde Park MS teaching 7th grade science! I have attached my classroom expectations for you to find important information about grading, rules and procedures, and other school policies. I'm looking forward to meeting each of you on Monday, August 8th, the first day of school!
