Final Exams Final Exams for the fall semester will begin on Wednesday, December 20th - Friday, December 22nd. School will be released at 11:30 a.m. on exam days. There will be regular bus transportation for eligible students. There will be no late buses or activities on exam days. Students must be off campus by 11:45 a.m. See the attached schedule.

Late Activities and Late Activity Buses Students remaining after school must be in an adult supervised club or activity. Students not in a supervised activity must leave campus by 2:15 pm. Students are not allowed to remain at the park, play basketball on the outside courts, or roam around campus unsupervised after school. When clubs and activities are dismissed at 3:30 pm, students must report immediately to the front of the building by the flag pole to await their ride or the late activity bus or, if students walk home, they must leave immediately. Students waiting for a ride after late activities must be picked up by 3:45 pm or they will need to ride the late activity bus. Students may not leave campus after school and return to ride the late activity bus; only students in adult supervised clubs or activities will be allowed to ride the late activity bus. Students who do not follow these procedures will not be allowed to stay after school for late activities.
Halloween Dance is Coming You are invited to attend the Charlie Brown Halloween Dance!The Halloween Dance is a chaperoned activity for all students enrolled at Hyde Park who have not been suspended during the current quarter. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students, the dance guidelines below will be enforced. Price of tickets includes photo booth picture, face painting, donut eating contest, and other activities. Snacks, popcorn, soda, water, and candy will be sold for $1.00 each.Students may wear costumes; No masks, face paint covering more than 50% of face, weapons, or simulated weapons.
Vegas Strong Fundraiser - Click for Details Student Council is going to hold a class donation contest the week of 10/9 - 10/13, to raise money for the Las Vegas Victims' Fund set up by Sheriff Lombardo and Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak. We are holding the contest during 3rd period. Students are encouraged to donate anything they can to help the victims and families in our community. #Vegasstrong
Watch D.OG.S. Pizza Night Calling all male guardians of Hyde Park Students. We will be holding a Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students), pizza night on Thursday, October 12th. Please come and hear about this important program and how you can help be a role model and support for our students. Dads, grandpas, uncles... are all invited.

First Day of School Notes The 2017-2018, school year will begin on Monday, August 14th. The campus will open at 6:30 a.m. Please do not drop your students off prior to 6:30 a.m. as there is no direct supervision of students prior to 6:30. All students will receive their official schedule in their alpha-homeroom on Monday morning. Click on this link for a copy of the Alpha-Homeroom list. Students enrolled in our magnet program will report to the gym, for magnet orientation at 7:00 a.m. Homeroom will start at 7:50 a.m. for all students. CCSD Food services will be serving breakfast and lunch starting on the 1st day of school. All families that are wishing to receive services through the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, must apply each school year. The school will dismiss at 2:01 p.m. for all students.

Studentofficers and teachers will be on hand to answer questions about what toexpect in the year to come. Parents will also have the opportunity to signup for our parent involvement committee and our WATCHDOGS program.
