Parents currently have two survey options available. One is the CCSD Distance Education choice survey that was opened for parents to revise. The second is the CCSD annual survey described below.

The annual Districtwide Survey for students, staff, and parents/guardians will be open from Friday, November 13, 2020, through December 18, 2020. The survey is intended to provide information for CCSD and schools regarding progress toward CCSD priorities and to comply with the requirements of the Board of School Trustees. The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey as a student and ask your parents to do it as well. Please select the one titled Districtwide Student or Parent/Guardian Survey.

Hyde Park Middle School is pleased to inform you it is now a GEAR UP school. GEAR UP is a program that helps students in grades 7th and 8th do well in school and plan for their education and career after high school. As a GEAR UP student, your child will have access to all kinds of information, activities, and services that will support them as they prepare to move into high school and start to think about going to college.

Services include tutoring and homework help, academic advising, virtual job site and college visits, virtual career exploration, summer programs to help prepare them as they move into high school, just to name a few.

Students, our publications students want to put together a GREAT yearbook for all of you, but they need your help. Please take pictures of you during the days of Distance Education and submit them to [email protected] to be included in the yearbook. We want selfies, action shots, spirit days, socially distanced time with friends, and so on. Please include your name, id number, and grade in the email.

Panther, The Hyde Park and the CCSD Police want to remnd you that even while on virtual education, CCSD School Zones are in affect as students are going to and from campuses to receive meals. Click on the story for a video announcement from CCSD Police.

We would like to invite you to join us for a virtual Parent Information Meeting about the Hyde Park Academy. Details about our academic program will be provided along with an overview of extracurricular activities. Current Hyde Park students will share their experiences at Hyde Park Academy with you and your children. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. Any family member can pick up meals daily for all students in the home from 10 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday at the front of the school.

Starting October 9, 2020, the cafeteria staff will be able to give 3 days of food to ALL students. This means food for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and every meal will be different and will be like that every Friday.

The FACES department has put together a variety of videos and resources for students and parents to better understand the MAPs testing progress and reports that are available.
